(Restriction of Speed on Roads)
(Amendment No. 2) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 15 April 2016.

Amendment of Part 1 of Second Schedule

2. Part 1 of the Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) Notification (N 6) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Portsdown Road”, the following item:

“Punggol East Road — that part of the slip road from Punggol East Road, between lamp post No. 4 and lamp post No. 273, in the direction towards Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway.”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Taman Permata”, the following item:

“Tampines Expressway — that part of the interchange from exit 7 of Tampines Expressway, between lamp post No. 371F and lamp post No. 263, in the direction towards Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway.”.
