6.—(1) For the purposes of the Act, other than section 22(2) of the Act, a prescribed person is any of the following:
(a)
a member of the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators;
(b)
a member of such other professional association, as may be approved by the Minister by notification in the Gazette;
(c)
in matters other than the incorporation of a company, the registration of a foreign company and the registration of a charge, an employee of a service bureau who is approved by the Minister; or
(d)
any other person who, in the opinion of the Minister, is a fit and proper person to be a prescribed person.
(2) For the purposes of section 22(2) of the Act, a prescribed person is an advocate and solicitor, an accountant or a prescribed person referred to in paragraph (1)(a), (b) or (d).
