Secondhand Goods Dealers (Exemption of
Licensed Pawnbrokers) (Amendment) Order 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Secondhand Goods Dealers (Exemption of Licensed Pawnbrokers) (Amendment) Order 2015 and comes into operation on 1 April 2015.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Secondhand Goods Dealers (Exemption of Licensed Pawnbrokers) Order (O 2) is amended by deleting the words “section 8(1) of the Pawnbrokers Act (Cap. 222)” and substituting the words “the Pawnbrokers Act 2015 (Act 2 of 2015)”.
