(CHAPTER 50B)

Competition (Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 93(1) of the Competition Act, the Competition Commission of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade), makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Competition (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 April 2018.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Competition Regulations 2007 (G.N. No. S 348/2007) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Competition Commission of Singapore (“CCS”)” under the heading “WARRANT TO ENTER PREMISES AND EXERCISE THE STATUTORY POWERS UNDER SECTION 65 OF THE COMPETITION ACT IN THE STATE COURTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE” and substituting the words “Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (“CCCS”)”; and
(b)	by deleting “CCS” wherever it appears under the heading “WARRANT TO ENTER PREMISES AND EXERCISE THE STATUTORY POWERS UNDER SECTION 65 OF THE COMPETITION ACT IN THE STATE COURTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE” and substituting in each case “CCCS”.
