Road Traffic
(Expressways — Excluded Vehicles)
(Amendment) Rules 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 114A(1) and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Expressways — Excluded Vehicles) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 1 April 2020.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Expressways — Excluded Vehicles) Rules 2010 (G.N. No. S 647/2010) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 5 and substituting the following item:

“5.	Motor‑cycles for which the designed maximum speed is less than 50 kilometres per hour.”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “40 kilometres” in item 23 and substituting the words “less than 50 kilometres”.
