(Amendment of Schedule)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 27th April 2011.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Appendices of the Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act are amended —

(a)

by deleting sub-headings B to G and the items thereunder in taxon I relating to “ANURA” and substituting the following sub-headings and items:

“

Calyptocephalellidae (Helmeted water toads)

Calyptocephalella gayi (Chile)

Dendrobatidae (Poison frogs)

Allobates femoralis

Allobates zaparo

Cryptophyllobates azureiventris

Dendrobates spp.

Epipedobates spp.

Hylidae (Tree frogs)

Mantellidae (Mantellas)

Mantella spp.

Microhylidae (Red rain frog, tomato frog)

Hoplobatrachus tigerinus

Rheobatrachidae (Gastric-brooding frogs)

Rheobatrachus spp.

”; and

(b)

by deleting item 1B in taxon XXIX relating to “MELIACEAE (Mahoganies, Spanish cedar)” and substituting the following item:

“

1B.

Cedrela odorata ^#5(Brazil and the Plurinational State of Bolivia. In addition, the following countries have listed their national populations: Colombia, Guatemala and Peru)

”.
