(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Control of Plants (Cultivation of Plants) (Licensing and Certification) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 1 April 2019.

Amendment of rule 20

2. Rule 20(1) of the Control of Plants (Cultivation of Plants) (Licensing and Certification) Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting the words “Tenth Schedule” in sub‑paragraph (f)(ii)(A) and (B) and substituting in each case the words “Ninth Schedule”.

Amendment of rule 27

3. Rule 27 of the Control of Plants (Cultivation of Plants) (Licensing and Certification) Rules is amended by deleting the word “Authority” and substituting the word “Board”.
