(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Central Provident Fund Act, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of State, Ministry of Education, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 23rd April 2004.
Amendment of regulation 5
2.  Regulation 5(3) of the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) Regulations (Rg 18) is amended by deleting the words “relating to the minimum sum under section 15 of the Act” in sub-paragraphs (c) (ii) and (d) and substituting in each case the words “under section 15 (6) of the Act”.
