(Exemption) (No. 28)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 28) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Ruby Spinning Desire” promotion to be held from 23 May 2016 to 23 September 2016 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the kiosk games to be held as part of that promotion at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks located inside the Paiza Dragon Slots Room, Pearl Room and Ruby Room of Marina Bay Sands during the following periods:

(i)	from 6 a.m. on 6 June 2016 to 11.59 p.m. on 10 June 2016;
(ii)	from 6 a.m. on 20 June 2016 to 11.59 p.m. on 24 June 2016;
(iii)	from 6 a.m. on 5 September 2016 to 11.59 p.m. on 9 September 2016;
(iv)	from 6 a.m. on 19 September 2016 to 11.59 p.m. on 23 September 2016.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
