Merchant Shipping (Special Limits Passenger Ships) Safety (Amendment) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 of the Merchant Shipping Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Special Limits Passenger Ships) Safety (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 9th May 1997.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Special Limits Passenger Ships) Safety Regulations (Rg 8) is amended by deleting Forms I and II and substituting the following Forms:
