Central Provident Fund
(Reserved Amount) (Amendment)
Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Reserved Amount) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 April 2021.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Central Provident Fund (Reserved Amount) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 380/2014) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 7, the following item:
“
7A.
The Board is entitled to deduct the amount of a premium for the Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme from the ordinary account of the member under section 45(2) of the Act.
The amount of premium for the Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme that the Board is entitled (at the relevant time) to deduct from the ordinary account of the member under section 45(2) of the Act.
”.
