Public Utilities (Composition of Offences)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(2) of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Public Utilities (Composition of Offences) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 May 2018.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Public Utilities (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 825/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting “40(4),” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “40G(7) or (8), 40H(2), 40O(2), 40P(2), 40Q(6),”;

(b)

by deleting “23(3), 24(7), 25(2), 26(2), 28(3), 29(2), 30(3), 31(2), 32(2), 33(4),” in paragraph (c);

(c)

by deleting “40(4),” in paragraph (d)(i);

(d)

by deleting “26(2),” in paragraph (d)(ii); and

(e)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (e) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(f)	any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 4(6), 6(2) or 8(2) of the Public Utilities (Regulated Works and WSI Design Works) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 163/2018).”.
