Town Councils (Allowances for Chairman and Members) (Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Town Councils (Allowances for Chairman and Members) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 15th May 1997.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Town Councils (Allowances for Chairman and Members) Rules (R 3) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
