(Performances and Other Activities —
Control Order) (Amendment No. 2)
Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 5 April 2021.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 927/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (n) of the definition of “live performance”, the following paragraph:
(o)any activity described in paragraphs (a) to (i) engaged in during the conduct of any lesson, coaching or instruction provided by a permitted enterprise carrying on an education business;”.
Amendment of regulation 8
3.  Regulation 8(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “sing” in sub‑paragraph (b)(ii), the words “when unmasked”.
Amendment of regulation 10
4.  Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (1), the following paragraph:
(1A)  Without affecting regulation 9, a person staging a live performance must take all reasonably practicable measures to ensure that at all times during the period of the live performance, any other performer singing on or in the stage area is wearing a mask where that other performer is in excess of the number of unmasked performers allowed under paragraph (1).”.
