Environmental Public Health (Exemption)
Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 110 and 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Exemption) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2014.

Exemption

2. Any public authority established by or under any public Act and discharging a function conferred by that Act to ensure the cleanliness of premises or any public place or to keep them in a clean condition is exempted from section 80D of the Act in respect of the requirement to hold a cleaning business licence.
