Environmental Public Health (Composition of
Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 104(3) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2014 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2014.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “section 42(1)” in paragraph (a)(iv) and substituting the words “section 41A”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (a), the following paragraph:

“(aa)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 80D(2), 80E(1), 80F(3) or 80M(4) of the Act;”.
