Place of Lock-up
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby appoints, with effect from 2nd May 1996, the lock-up at the Syariah Court to be a place for the confinement of persons awaiting trial, remanded or sentence to such terms of imprisonment not exceeding one month.
Made this 22nd day of May 1996.
