(Amendment No. 2) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 1 April 2019.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts) Rules (R 15) is amended by deleting the definition of “business service passenger vehicle” and substituting the following definition:

“ “business service passenger vehicle” has the meaning given by rule 2(1) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5);”.
