(Exemption) (No. 22)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 22) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Marina Bay Sands Top 500 — Peel & Win” promotion to be held from 26 May 2017 to 24 December 2017 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the “Peel & Win” peel‑off card game to be held as part of that promotion at the Top 500 Redemption Counter in the Ruby Room, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands from 12 noon to 11.59 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	27 May 2017 and 28 May 2017;
(ii)	1 July 2017 and 2 July 2017;
(iii)	26 August 2017 and 27 August 2017;
(iv)	30 September 2017 and 1 October 2017;
(v)	25 November 2017 and 26 November 2017;
(vi)	23 December 2017 and 24 December 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
