Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 20) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Jalan Besar Division Women’s Executive Committee and Jalan Besar Active Ageing Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organisers”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Jalan Besar Mahjong Championship 2013” to be held on 26th May 2013 from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the multi-purpose hall of Geylang West Community Club.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organisers with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
