Common Gaming Houses
(Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2015.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Kampong Ubi Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee (called the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Kampong Ubi Senior Mahjong Friendly Match” promotion to be held from 4 May 2015 to 21 June 2015 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at the multi‑purpose hall of Kampong Ubi Community Centre from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on 21 June 2015.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
