(IMF‑Singapore Regional Training Institute)
(Amendment) Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) Act 1948, the President makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (IMF‑Singapore Regional Training Institute) (Amendment) Order 2024 and, except for paragraphs 2 and 3(a) to (e), comes into operation on 1 April 2024.
(2)  Paragraphs 2 and 3(a) to (e) are deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of paragraph 3
2.  In the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (IMF‑Singapore Regional Training Institute) Order (O 18), in paragraph 3, replace “(Cap. 27, O 1)” with “(O 1)”.
Amendment of paragraph 5
3.  In the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (IMF‑Singapore Regional Training Institute) Order, in paragraph 5(3) —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (a), replace “Employment of Foreign Workers Act (Cap. 91A)” with “Employment of Foreign Manpower Act 1990”;
(b)in sub‑paragraph (c), replace “(Cap. 117A)” with “1993”;
(c)in sub‑paragraph (d), replace “(Cap. 254)” with “1960”;
(d)in sub‑paragraph (d), replace “(Cap. 312)” with “1929”;
(e)in sub‑paragraph (e), replace “(Cap. 318)” with “1968”; and
(f)in sub‑paragraph (e), after “1968”, insert “, or the water conservation tax under the Public Utilities (Water Conservation Tax) Order 2024 (G.N. No. S 255/2024)”.
