(Exemption) (No. 20)
Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 20) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Lucky Draw Promotion for Hong Kong Races” to be held from 13th June 2012 to 15th July 2012 (both dates inclusive) and the weekly draws to be held on 21st June 2012, 28th June 2012, 5th July 2012, 12th July 2012 and 19th July 2012, respectively, at 3 p.m. at the Singapore Racecourse.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
