Road Traffic
(Expressway Traffic) (Amendment)
Rules 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 114 and 140(1) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) (Amendment) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 28th January 2012.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. Part I of the Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) Rules (R 23) is amended by renaming the item as item 1 of that Part, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“2. That road tunnel known as Woodsville Tunnel which consists of the following lengths of road tunnels:

(a)	a road tunnel which extends from Serangoon Road in a general northward direction and ends at Upper Serangoon Road, at a distance of approximately 260 metres;
(b)	a road tunnel which extends from Upper Serangoon Road in a general southward direction and ends at Bendemeer Road, at a distance of approximately 245 metres; and
(c)	a road tunnel on a slip road which extends from MacPherson Road in a general south westward direction and ends at Bendemeer Road, at a distance of approximately 185 metres.”.
