(Composition of Offences) Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Public Order (Additional Temporary Measures) Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Order (Additional Temporary Measures) (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2014.

Compoundable offences

2. An offence under section 4(1) or (2) of the Act may be compounded, in accordance with section 16 of the Act, by the Commissioner or any police officer authorised in that behalf by the Commissioner for the purposes of section 16 of the Act.
