(Amendment)
Regulations 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Public Order Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Public Order (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into operation on 1 June 2017.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Public Order Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 487/2009) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Non-application to election meetings
2.  These Regulations do not apply to the following public assemblies:
(a)any public assembly to which the Public Order (Election Meetings in Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 486/2009) apply;
(b)any public assembly to which the Public Order (Election Meetings in Presidential Elections) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 273/2017) apply.”.
