(Exemption) (No. 25)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 25) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Holiday Frenzy Draw” promotion to be held from 12th April 2014 to 28th December 2014 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “Holiday Frenzy Draw” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:

(i)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 12th May 2014;
(ii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 13th May 2014;
(iii)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight daily between 25th July 2014 and 27th July 2014 (both dates inclusive);
(iv)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 28th July 2014;
(v)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 8th August 2014 and 9th August 2014, respectively;
(vi)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 10th August 2014;
(vii)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 3rd October 2014 and 4th October 2014, respectively;
(viii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 5th October 2014;
(ix)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight daily between 22nd October 2014 and 25th October 2014 (both dates inclusive);
(x)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 26th October 2014;
(xi)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight daily between 24th December 2014 and 27th December 2014 (both dates inclusive);
(xii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 28th December 2014.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
