(Exemption from Section 12)
(Amendment) Order 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Road Traffic (Exemption from Section 12) (Amendment) Order 2020 and is deemed to have come into operation on 18 March 2020.

Amendment of paragraph 4

2. The Road Traffic (Exemption from Section 12) Order (O 6) is amended by renumbering paragraph 4 as sub‑paragraph (1) of that paragraph, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:

“(2) The condition mentioned in sub‑paragraph (1)(d) does not apply during the period between 18 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 (both dates inclusive) in relation to the person and the vehicle mentioned in sub‑paragraph (1).”.
