(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Minimum Sum Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Labour, after consultation with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Minimum Sum Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.
2.  Regulation 13 of the Central Provident Fund (Minimum Sum Scheme) Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting sub-paragraph (h) of paragraph (1) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
“
(h) $282
from 1st July 2000 to 30th June 2001.
(i) $287
from 1st July 2001.
”;
(b)by deleting sub-paragraph (h) of paragraph (2) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
“
(h) $423
from 1st July 2000 to 30th June 2001.
(i) $431
from 1st July 2001.
”.
