Road Traffic (Collection of Toll At Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints) (Amendment) Rules 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34D and 140(1) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Collection of Toll at Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints) (Amendment) Rules 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2008.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Road Traffic (Collection of Toll at Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints) Rules (R 12) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

Toll Payable

Part I

Toll payable at the Woodlands Checkpoint for using the Johore Bahru — Woodlands Causeway to leave Singapore —

Description of vehicle

Toll payable

(1) Buses

$ 1.00

(2) Cars

$ 1.20

(3) Heavy goods vehicles

$ 2.60

(4) Taxis

$ 0.60

(5) Vans or light goods vehicles having
2 axles or 6 wheels or less

$ 1.90.

Part II

Toll payable at the Tuas Checkpoint for using the Second Crossing to leave or enter Singapore —

Description of vehicle

Toll payable

(1) Buses

$ 5.60

(2) Cars

$ 4.60

(3) Heavy goods vehicles

$21.00

(4) Motor cycles

$ 0.70

(5) Taxis

$ 3.50

(6) Vans or light goods vehicles having
2 axles or 6 wheels or less

$10.50.”.
