Merchant Shipping Act
(Chapter 179)
Merchant Shipping (Authorised Organisations) (Amendment) Regulations 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 116 of the Merchant Shipping Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Authorised Organisations) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 20th June 1997.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Authorised Organisations) Regulations (Rg 18) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 8, the following item:
“9.  Korean Register of Shipping.”.
