Air Navigation (Seletar Aerodrome Fees) (Amendment) Order 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2)(o) of the Air Navigation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Seletar Aerodrome Fees) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2009.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Air Navigation (Seletar Aerodrome Fees) Order (O 4) is amended by deleting the definitions of “Authority” and “chief executive officer” and substituting the following definitions:

“ “airport licensee” means the holder of an airport licence that is granted under section 36 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009 (Act 17 of 2009) for the aerodrome;

“Authority” means the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore reconstituted under the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009;

“Chief Executive” means the chief executive appointed under section 11 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009, and includes any person acting in that capacity;”.

Miscellaneous amendments

3. The Air Navigation (Seletar Aerodrome Fees) Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “the Authority” wherever they appear in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “the airport licensee”:

Paragraphs 3(1), 6(1), 7(1), 11(1), 13(2) and 14;

(b)

by deleting the words “chief executive officer” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “Chief Executive”:

Paragraphs 4, 5(d) and (e), 8(a), 9, 10, 12(g), 13(1) and 14;

(c)

by deleting the words “chief executive officer” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “airport licensee”:

Paragraphs 6(6), 7(3) and 13(3);

(d)

by deleting the word “his” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “its”:

Paragraphs 6(6) and 7(3); and

(e)

by deleting the words “The Authority” in paragraph 11(2) and substituting the words “The airport licensee”.
