Common Gaming Houses
(Exemption) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Weekly Gold Bar Draw” promotion to be held from 11 January 2016 to 8 February 2016 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Casino Royale Bar (Level B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. during the following periods:

(i)	8 p.m. on 17 January 2016, 24 January 2016 and 31 January 2016, respectively;
(ii)	1 a.m. on 8 February 2016; and

(c)

the “Grand Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Casino Royale Bar (Level B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. at 2 a.m. on 8 February 2016.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
