Consumer Protection (Fair Trading)
(Regulated Financial Products and Services)
(Amendment) Regulations 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Regulated Financial Products and Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into operation on 5 January 2017.
Amendment of regulation 7
2.  Regulation 7 of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Regulated Financial Products and Services) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 64/2009) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “and 9 (Declaration or injunction)” and substituting the words “, 9 (Declaration or injunction) and 10 (Injunction against person from knowingly abetting, aiding, permitting or procuring supplier to engage in unfair practice)”; and
(b)by deleting the words “and 9” in the regulation heading and substituting the words “, 9 and 10”.
