(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act 1953, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Retirement Sum Topping‑Up Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 June 2023.

Amendment of regulation 10C

2. In the Central Provident Fund (Retirement Sum Topping‑Up Scheme) Regulations (Rg 3) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 10C —

(a)

in paragraph (5), replace “$250” with “$350”;

(b)

in paragraph (7)(j), delete “and” at the end; and

(c)

in paragraph (7), replace sub‑paragraph (k) with —

“(k)	$297 from 1st July 2003 to 31st May 2023; and
(l)	$350 from 1st June 2023.”.

Amendment of regulation 10E

3. In the principal Regulations, in regulation 10E(4), replace “$297” with “$350”.

Amendment of regulation 10F

4. In the principal Regulations, in regulation 10F(2), replace “$250” with “$350”.
