Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment) Notification 2004 and shall come into operation on 3rd June 2004.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Restriction of Speed (Roads) Notification (N 6) is amended by deleting the item relating to "Telok Blangah Viaduct".

Amendment of Third Schedule

3. The Third Schedule to the Restriction of Speed (Roads) Notification is amended by inserting, immediately below the item relating to "Tampines Road", the following item:

“Telok Blangah Viaduct —

“(a)	between the 60 km per hour maximum speed limit sign and the 50 km per hour maximum speed limit sign along the westbound carriageway of Telok Blangah Viaduct; and
(b)	between the 60 km per hour maximum speed limit sign and the 50 km per hour maximum speed limit sign along the eastbound carriageway of Telok Blangah Viaduct,

as indicated by diagram 12 in Part I of the Schedule to the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33).”.
