Registration of Deeds (Amendment) Rules 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(1A) of the Registration of Deeds Act, the Singapore Land Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Law, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Deeds (Amendment) Rules 2015 and come into operation on 1 June 2015.

Amendment of rule 32

2. Rule 32 of the Registration of Deeds Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting paragraph (3).

Deletion and substitution of rule 33

3. Rule 33 of the Registration of Deeds Rules is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:

“Remission or refund of fees

33. The Registrar may remit or refund, wholly or in part, any fee paid or payable under these Rules.”.
