(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 196(3) of the Casino Control Act 2006, the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Home Affairs, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Regulations are the Casino Control (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and, except for regulation 2(b), come into operation on 1 February 2024.
(2)  Regulation 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In the Casino Control (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 87/2010), in regulation 2 —
(a)in paragraph (a), delete “29(4), 32(2),”;
(b)in paragraph (a), replace “116(5A), (6), (6A) and (6B),” with “116(6), (7), (8) and (9),”;
(c)in paragraph (a), after “170A(4)”, insert “, 170D”;
(d)after paragraph (a), insert —
“(aa)any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 29(4) of the Act as in force immediately before 1 April 2018;
(ab)any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 32(2) of the Act as in force immediately before 1 August 2022;”; and
(e)in paragraph (c), after “(G.N. No. S 415/2009)”, insert “as in force immediately before 1 May 2018”.
