Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) (Amendment) Rules 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 15 and 23(1) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 6th June 2005.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) Rules (R 2) is amended ––

(a)	by deleting the words “3 months” in paragraph 6(1) of Part IV and substituting the words “6 months”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “3 months” in paragraph 3(1) of Part V and substituting the words “6 months”. [G.N. Nos. S 295/2002; S358/2003; S 399/2003; S 171/2004)
