Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 (1) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 8th July 2002.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification (N 3) is amended by deleting item (1) and substituting the following item:

“(1)	Port of Singapore

All that area occupied by “PORT OF SINGAPORE — FREE TRADE ZONE” containing an area of approximately 190.3 hectares and bounded by Telok Blangah Road, Keppel Road, East Coast Parkway, East Lagoon and Keppel Harbour.

The boundary commences at the western‑most corner of the aforesaid “PORT OF SINGAPORE — FREE TRADE ZONE” which point’s adopted co‑ordinates are North 27,288.7 metres and East 26,954.2 metres. The point of commencement is 2,711.3 metres South and 3,045.8 metres West of the Survey Department’s origin of co‑ordinates and runs approximately as follows:

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification is amended by deleting Plan I and substituting the following Plan:

“PLAN I

PORT OF SINGAPORE
(TANJONG PAGAR TERMINAL,
KEPPEL TERMINAL AND MARINA TERMINAL)

”.
