Police (Special Constabulary)
(Amendment) Regulations 2015
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 85 of the Police Force Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Special Constabulary) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 1 June 2015.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  Regulation 3(1) of the Police (Special Constabulary) Regulations (Rg 3) is amended by deleting the words “section 68” in sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting in each case the words “section 68(1)”.
New regulation 6A
3.  The Police (Special Constabulary) Regulations are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 6, the following regulation:
Medical examination for volunteer, etc.
6A.—(1)  Every person who enrols or is enrolled as a volunteer under section 68(1) of the Act must undergo a medical examination if so required by the Commander, Volunteer Special Constabulary.
(2)  Every person who enrols or is enrolled as a volunteer ex‑NSman under section 68(2A) of the Act must undergo a medical examination if so required by the Director, Police National Service Department.”.
