Protected Areas (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 11th July 2001.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Item (5) of the Schedule to the Protected Areas (Consolidation) Order (O 7) is deleted and the following item substituted therefor:

TRAINING PLOT 8.

All that area comprised in State Land Lots 21-2, 609, 74-5, 74-7, 74-39, 74-40, 74-41, State Lands, part of State Land Lots 138, 150, 749, 77, 72, 610, 1236W, 1138K in MUKIM No. 12 (LIM CHU KANG), occupied by “TRAINING PLOT 8”, containing an area of about 1,863,751 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at a point southern-most corner of the aforesaid “TRAINING PLOT 8” which point is 44,180.096 metres North and 13,209.502 metres East of the Survey Department origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances approximately as under:
