Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55(1) of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2004.
Amendment of regulation 11
2.  Regulation 11 of the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —
(a)by deleting paragraph (1) and substituting the following paragraph:
(1)  A dependant’s pass may be issued to any person (not being a prohibited immigrant) who is the spouse or dependent child of —
(a)the holder of an employment pass;
(b)the holder of a work permit pass; or
(c)the holder of a visit pass who holds a work permit issued under the Employment of Foreign Workers Act (Cap. 91A),
to enable the spouse or child to accompany or join the holder and to remain with him in Singapore.”; and
(b)by deleting the words “or work permit pass” in paragraph (7) and substituting the words “, work permit pass or visit pass”.
Amendment of First Schedule
3.  The First Schedule to the Immigration Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “Work Permit” in sub-paragraph (vi) in the 3rd column of Form 13, the word “/Visit”.
