(Exemption) (No. 27)
Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 27) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Instant Win To Spin” kiosk game to be held daily from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) of Marina Bay Sands; and
(b)	the “Jumbo Cash” lucky draw to be held daily at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively, at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) of Marina Bay Sands,

as part of the “Dragon Wheel Weekend” promotion to be held during the following periods:

(i)	from 10th August 2012 to 12th August 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	from 14th September 2012 to 16th September 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(iii)	from 12th October 2012 to 14th October 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(iv)	from 11th January 2013 to 13th January 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(v)	from 8th February 2013 to 10th February 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(vi)	from 15th March 2013 to 17th March 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(vii)	from 12th April 2013 to 14th April 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(viii)	from 10th May 2013 to 12th May 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(ix)	from 14th June 2013 to 16th June 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(x)	from 12th July 2013 to 14th July 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(xi)	from 9th August 2013 to 11th August 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(xii)	from 13th September 2013 to 15th September 2013 (both dates inclusive); and
(xiii)	from 11th October 2013 to 13th October 2013 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
