Public Entertainments and Meetings
(Exemptions) (Amendment)
Order 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Exemptions) (Amendment) Order 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2011.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Exemptions) Order (O 1) is amended by deleting the definitions of “carnival ride” and “registered professional engineer”.

Amendment of paragraph 3

3. Paragraph 3(6) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Exemptions) Order is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “or carnival rides” wherever they appear;
(b)	by deleting sub-paragraphs (b) and (c); and
(c)	by deleting the words “and carnival rides” in the sub-heading.
