(Exemption) (No. 4)
Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 4) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “RWS Million Dollar Lottery” promotion to be held from 5th February 2012 to 31st December 2012 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this paragraph as the relevant period) and comprising the following draws to be held at the Casino Royale Bar located within the Mass Gaming Area at Basement 1 of the casino operated by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd.:

(a)	the “Daily Draws” to be held, as part of the “RWS Million Dollar Lottery” promotion, at 9.30 p.m. every day (except Saturday) during the relevant period; and
(b)	the “Weekly Draws” to be held, as part of the “RWS Million Dollar Lottery” promotion, at 9.30 p.m. on every Saturday during the relevant period.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
