Infectious Diseases
(Notification of Infectious Diseases)
(Amendment) Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 26 January 2016.

Amendment of Part I of Schedule

2. Part I of the Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 612/2008) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 19, the following item:

“20. Zika Virus Infection.”.
