Supreme Court of Judicature
(Transfer of Matrimonial, Divorce and
Guardianship of Infants Proceedings to
District Court) (Amendment) Order 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28A of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act, I, Yong Pung How, Chief Justice, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Supreme Court of Judicature (Transfer of Matrimonial, Divorce and Guardianship of Infants Proceedings to District Court) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into operation on 18th August 2020.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part II of the Schedule to the Supreme Court of Judicature (Transfer of Matrimonial, Divorce and Guardianship of Infants Proceedings to District Court) Order (O 1) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (c) in the second column, the following paragraph:

“(d)	The reference to “the Sheriff” in section 14 shall be read as a reference to “a bailiff”.”
