(Amendment of First Schedule)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 26 January 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item 33, the following item:

“34. Zika Virus Infection.”.
