Pingat Perkhidmatan Anggota Beruniform
Malaysia (The Uniformed Services
Malaysia Medal) (Amendment) Rules 1999

The President hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Pingat Perkhidmatan Anggota Beruniform Malaysia (The Uniformed Services Malaysia Medal) (Amendment) Rules 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1999.

New rule 6

2. The Pingat Perkhidmatan Anggota Beruniform Malaysia (The Uniformed Services Malaysia Medal) Rules 1964 (Sp. No.S142/64) are amended by inserting, immediately after rule 5, the following rule:

“Forfeiture and restoration of Medal

6.—(1) The President may, if he thinks fit, forfeit the Medal awarded to any person and thereupon the name of such person shall be deleted from the register.

(2) The President may, in his discretion, restore the Medal to any person whose name has been deleted from the register.”.
